Parallel Evaporation
![]() | Syncore® Polyvap, Syncore® Analyst, MultivaporTM P-12Three distinct instruments cover a whole range of applications and demands. Get a general idea... |
Büchi Labortechnik AG offers three instruments all of which meet the claim of fast and environmentally sound parallel evaporation and concentration with high recovery rates. The common feature of all instruments is a strong vortex inside the sample tube, generated by a vigorous orbital horizontal movement, which in combination with a sophisticated vacuum solution ensures high performance without the risk of cross-contamination. This is in contrast to the widely known vacuum centrifuges, and in solvent recovery, air pollution and running-costs Büchi's instruments notedly excel compared to N2-blow-down evaporators.
Low-cost, small instrument for parallel evaporation of up to 12 samples with a maximum volume of 30 ml. A unique synergetic combination with the condenser and vacuum assembly of a rotary evaporator makes this instrument unbeatable in terms of low costs and required bench top space. In addition, a highly flexible sealing system with a number of specific adapters covers a broad range common glassware, rendering time-consuming sample transfer steps obsolete.
Highly modular parallel evaporator with interchangeable racks for 4 to 96 samples, covering working volumes of 0.5 to 500 ml. Due to a number of optional modular asseccories the Polyvap is instantly convertable into the Syncore® Reactor performing synthetic procedures or the Syncore® Analyst for concentration to pre-defined residual volumes.
The Syncore® Analyst is designed for smooth concentration of 4 to 12 samples ranging in volumes of 30 to 500 ml down to pre-defined residual volumes of 0.3, 1.0, or 3.0 ml, respectively. The key features of the Syncore® Analyst sample racks is an integrated cooling zone which stores the sample in a cooled environment as soon as a defined volume is reached. High recovery rates are achieved with the ultimate Flushback Modul that gently rinses the glass wall during operation with the solvent being evaporated. Compatibility within the Syncore® line expands the scope of applications to evaporation to dryness (Syncore® Polyvap) or synthesis (Syncore® Reactor).
